Well, can you type some command and give me the result ?

uname -r >> debug_alsa_file
echo "lspci -v" >> debug_alsa_file
lspci -v >> debug_alsa_file
echo "lsmod | grep snd" >> debug_alsa_file
lsmod | grep snd >> debug_alsa_file

I don't think you'll need to compile alsa
