I'm well aware of that.  However, the initial code drop was only the
compiler and VM, not ANY of the class libraries.  The version of Sun
Java in the repositories has no source and a very unfree license
(http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/changelogs/pool/multiverse/s/sun-java5/sun-java5_1.5.0-08-0ubuntu1/sun-java5-doc.copyright).
