Is there a limit to the number of partitions and OSs
I can put on one hdd (beyond space limitations, of course)?
I have two machines here, each dual-booting
(one w/kubu dapper and feisty-kubu, the other
with feisty edubuntu and Linguas0s-my self-rolled
pcfluxboxos based translators distro).
Assuming I have the space (b/c I do, each box has 189gb hdd),
can I partition again and install yet a third distro?
I can't see why not...I mean, the space is there.
It would be one more entry to the grub menu...
I shouldn't have any issues with that, should I?
Does my thinking out loud on the list annoy people?
My daugher, 8years old and using Linux since she could
move a mouse, wants to roll her own LiveCD
for a science project at school, so, I want to
partition off another 10gb on one of these boxes
and make room to help her set this up, without disturbing
any of the current systems.
thanks for humouring me
/tony
