I have exactly the same problem under new 686 kernel which I just downloaded a few minutes agol. No audio, trying to unmute sound: "No volume control GStreamer plugsins and/or devices found" In dpkg log: linux-image-2.6.22-14-generic 2.6.22-14.47 I am going to try to revert it. -- Colin Brace Amsterdam
