Question about screen flicking

Hi All,

Recently I am experiencing screen flicking on my T40.  It does not
happen when running Windoz so it is not a hardware problems.  It happens
with Gutsy only when I select from the pull down menu.  The screen will
flash a few times.  The same happens when I select Alt-Tab.  Would
anyone know to overcome or fix that?
