About a USB device (EST-610U Edge Modem)

Hi All,

Recently I have bought a new Edge USB Modem (EST-610U) its vendor id
and product id is 0x067b and 0x0610. My Ubuntu Kernel
(2.6.20-16-generic) can not detect what driver to used for this. Can
anyone please help me with it? Also can someone please help me with
understanding the significance of vendor id and product id of USB
devices, link to a article or something would do it.
