AMD 64 bit support in ubuntu

There are, (to my limited knowlege) no problems with Ubuntu packages, 
but I would advise you install the 32-bit version for a desktop  for 
Multi-Media use..  The are problems with binary codec packages (such as 
used with Mplayer) and I'm not all certain about the status of 64-bit 
flash plugins.
