sudo is a command that means "do as s(uper)u(ser).
sudoers is a file in /etc (/etc/sudoers )
which lists which users are allowed to user "sudo"
when you type
sudo command
then the command is run as root. It will ask you for a password, and
that will be your _user_ login password, not the root/admin's
password.
