No. Please don't do that. Ubuntu's Evo is meta installed and there are
tons of links into & out of it. Just leave it as is.
Before you do anything, do this (from Evo):
File|Backup Settings
Save your Evo & data before you mess with anything else. The above will
provduce a evolution-backup.tar.gz to a directory of your choice. Save
that .tz to a safe location & perhaps even to a backup CD. Then you can
fiddle to your heart's content with your Evo and if you screw something
up you can always restore to exactly where you were before. If you
fiddle with something down the road, do it again & save it with a file
name that reflects the date; evolution-backup_Dec072002.tar.gz etc.
You can't easily import your Evo email into Thunderbird or SeaMonkey.
However, there are a few methods that you can try:
