Huh...my wife and I both use hotmail accounts using firefox on linux without
a problem.
Of course, I mostly just maintain the hotmail acct to have access to MSN
messenger
since many of the freelancers I work with use it for communication purposes.
(use Kopete), but my wife's main e-mail is her hotmail.
She does still have XP on dual boot, but only brings up XP to play Sims2
and design houses with some design software I got her, as a hobby.
We're translators, and use Omega T and openoffice.org, kpdf and other tools
for our work. Works out great for me. Stable, powerful tools, low
overhead,
no headaches...
