Glad to see you got the help you need, but _which_ pavilion webcam (and are
we even talking about an HP Pavilion, or some camera specifically named
Pavilion)?  Mine didn't need any kernel modules compiled, but I did need to
upgrade to gutsy before any applications worked with it (so far, I know of
at least three different webcams in the HP Pavilions).
