C compiler cannot execute executables

Hi Guys

He'll likely find that a needed library isn't yet installed. The log should 
point to the culprit which can then be installed from the repos.

PS
if you can't spot it, maybe cut and paste the section of the log where the 
failure occurs. One of us will likely see the culprit
