It may be useful to look in the printer manuals to find out if they support
any other emulations that may be more common.

We have a Lexmark E120 and I got it working by installing HP Laserjet 4
drivers.

Subject: printing problem

I have Ubuntu ff 7.02 installed in a dual boot system with ms windows. I
have two printers connected, a lexmark x4270 and a epson lq 510. I accept
that there is a problem with Lexmark and chances of fixing that are slim to
none, but Ubuntu should support the Epson. The lq 510 installs and
everything looks right . It will will print a test page and a single page
document fine, but on a document longer than one page it will lock up the
printer on the second page. I do have to install it as a lq 500, but I don't
think that should make any big difference. Any suggestions will be greatly
appreciated.
