Does it appear as if the VMWare sessions are getting full access to the
16 gig of memory?
And you didn't need to do anything special to specify a "64 bit" version
or processor-specific version of the packages in Synaptic? From what I
can find, if you're able to install the 64 bit Windows as a client, it
means you're running the 64 bit version of the server product.
