No Sound

you should reinstall alsa, you can downloaded from here[1] and compile with
options --with-cards=emu10k1
To do it download the driver, extract it and in a terminal execute:

?>./configure --with-cards= emu10k1
?>make
?>sudo make install

and then download the alsa-lib and alsa-plugins and compiled with:
?>./configure
?>make
?>sudo make install

I'm sorry is not a easy way for a newbie but I don't know any way
