I'm building a new laptop. It has a Broadcom wireless chipset. I am getting
the following in dmesg:
bcm43xx: Error: Microcode "bcm43xx_microcode5.fw" not available or load
A little Googling reveals that I need to extract this firmware using a tool
called bcm43xx-fwcutter. I downloaded, and compiled this package. Ubuntu
has automounted the Windows partitions of the disk, so I'm thinking that
this firmware should be on there somewhere.
How can I find it, and once I do that, how do I use this tool?
