Thanks Derek. That's good to know. From the OP I wasn't sure if he could log
on at all. I would have thought that if he could log in in recovery mode
then the answer would have been obvious. So I just assumed he couldn't log
onto his system, period. That's when the rescue disk/knoppix etc. come in
handy.
