ubuntu gutsy black screen

this is a bug from feisty , but I can not fix it.

it lokks like when I add vga=*** to the grub menu.lst file

then reboot the computer will get a black terminal screnn, the X still works
well, no matter

what number follow the vga= .


I try to fix this bug , since when I not  use vga option, the terminal is so
small and urgy ,but I can not find any useful method.

anybody knows how to fix this?
