list messages get sent to spam

I have that problem as well. The common thread that I have seen is that 
almost all of the ones I have marked as spam have European or Asian 
names as authors. I haven't seen any words in any of them that would 
cause me to think it was spam. I don't know how to fix it except, as you 
said, its only stray emails that make it in there.
