Hello Derek,
Not sure I understand you fully. I do use the reply
function of Yahoo web mail for replies and notice a
lot of OP use it too. Not against changing clients if
it's not one of those linux network thingys that
reguires a lot of network setup knowledge. I have
evolution(flaky), mozilla mail and some others. What
do you suggest as I've been using yahoo mail for quite
a while now. I get the digest and don't visit the mail
list URL often. Are you talking about when replies to
a subject don't fall under the immediate original post
and appears after several other posts? I've seen that
happen with every client I've used and for OP too. Do
you know any fixes? I'm open to any. Maybe I'm doing
something wrong when replying from the digest. What I
do is:
Read the digest,
Hit the reply button when I want to reply.
Delete the subject and copy and paste the subject I
want to reply to.
Then delete all the posts before and after the one I'm
replying to.
Then add my comments, bottom posting most of the time.
And finally send the reply.

It's a real pain in the ass but I've not found a
better way and have even posted to this list asking if
there was a preferred way to reply. Got none; where
were you then. This was a while ago when I first
started using Ubuntu.
I'm open to any suggestions as long as it doesn't
require reconfiguring Ubuntu. I await your reply.
