[Gutsy] what happened to Deskbar applet??!?!?!

I notice yesterday that my so loved Deskbar applet now opens a window instead 
of its usual popup.
The new window wont also close with the Alt+F3 as did the popup.
Its also much, much everier on resources.

Cant seem to find any updates on it, so dont know what happened. The only 
thing the I saw on the synaptic logs as an update of:
gnome-applets (2.19.1-0ubuntu1) to 2.19.1-0ubuntu2
gnome-applets-data (2.19.1-0ubuntu1) to 2.19.1-0ubuntu2


Do you guys also see this efect? I WANT MY OLD DESKBAR BACK.....
