For those wondering how to see the "Depends", "Conflicts" etc., besides
going to the packages.ubuntu.com links, there are two easy ways:
1. Gui. System|Administration|Synaptic Package Manager. Right click on
any package, then select Properties|Dependencies.
2. Command line. apt-cache depends packagename Example:
~$ apt-cache depends shorewall
shorewall
Depends: iptables
Depends: iproute
|Depends: debconf
Depends: <debconf-2.0>
cdebconf
debconf
Suggests: shorewall-doc
|Suggests: <kernel-image-2.4>
|Suggests: <kernel-image-2.6>
