 I still haven't found the solution, but I just can't believe that a
distro as popular as Ubuntu with a driver as popular as madwifi hasn't
implemented the patch, or at least some kind of work around.  I'm not
willing to give up yet - I like this card, I just wish it'd report
correctly!
