System locks on log out was FIXED: installing themes

From /usr/share/doc/sysv-rc/README.runlevels.gz:

|   The following runlevels are defined:
|
|   N       System bootup (NONE).
|   S       Single user mode (not to be switched to directly)
|   0       halt
|   1       single user mode
|   2 .. 5  multi user mode
|   6       reboot

Only if you have created a special setup with your own definition of 
runlevel 8 it will do anything special. Otherwise you have probably just 
used the standard runlevel 2 instead.

Anyway, maybe you should just uninstall the theme which locks your machine 
after logout (or try another theme).
