Problem with LVM2 to create snapshot

Hi,

I use Fiesty and LVM2 2.02.06 and I try to create a MySQL snapshot with 
the command:

lvcreate -L5000M -s -n dbbackup /dev/LVM-1/MySQL

but I got an error message:

snapshot: Required device-mapper target(s) not detected in your kernel
  lvcreate: Create a logical volume

What's wrong ???
