PHP + Apache + MySQL

Hiho!

I've installed MySQL through:
sudo apt-get install mysql-server

It works fine.

Then I've installed apache2+php through:
sudo apt-get install php5
(apache2 was installed as well with this command)

Apache2 and PHP works fine.

Now I would like to make them together work: PHP+MySQL.
I checked the php.ini, and there is no mysql extension. I was search for
mysql.so, but I'm not finding it.
Should i download a mysql.so? Or what are the right steps?
