Hi Graham,

The mplex program is part of the "mjpegtools" package, which is in
the multiverse repository.

Just install the package in your normal manner. Read the man page for
mplex before use (or follow your chosen guide). It puts the movie back
together basically.

FWIW, my process for conversion is:
demux original with ProjectX,
edit movie with AviDemux,
convert edited movie to mpg with mplex (ie remux it),
create dvd from mpg with DeVeDe.

Hasn't failed yet.

Cheers,
Paul.
