Hello,
my question concerns my support ticket
https://answers.beta.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/2690.
I did so as suggested in the post from the 2007-04-27, but without
success. The problem now is that I can't boot with kernel
2.6.17-11, the system crashed, only the magic keys still
work. But with the kernel 2.6.17-10 the system boots. The
problem with hda-intel isn't solved, but it boots.
Now I want bring back the system in the original edgy state.
My idea is to reinstall the kernel image 2.6.17-11 and the
ALSA packages base, lib and utils. Could that work or is
there a other way to bring the system in a state as re-
presented by the Ubuntu package state. I mean is it possible
with Synaptic (or a other tool) to check whether the installed
files in the system actual matching with the installed Ubuntu
packages and if not to correct this?
Thanks in advance,
Mr Canis
