In tracking down my suspend/hibernate issues today, I noticed that the
swap file wasn't being mounted during boot - thanks edgy :-o Heavens
only knows why that got clobbered in the upgrade. You can check swap
status with:
cat /proc/swaps
Anyway, correcting this was easy enough - once I knew I had a problem -
but I noticed in my googles that hibernate seems to change the swap UUID
in some cases and is a cause of trouble for quite a few folk.
Now, that I've sorted swap, a whole bunch of issues have been resolved.
