Wireless PCI card not recognized

I just installed an Encore ENLWI-G PCI wireless adapter in my PC that's 
running Kubuntu 6.10.

I was under the impression that it would be recognized automagically 
because the driver is part of the installation, but when I go to K Menu 
 > System Settings > Network & connectivity > Network Settings, all I 
see is "eth0", the Ethernet card.

How do I get the wireless card recognized/installed?
