To be fair, one of the main reasons to use Ubuntu instead of say,
Debian, is that the release cycle is much faster, so you get cool new
things all the time. Debian's release cycle is slower because they
want to make sure that nothing goes out un- or under-tested. It's a
trade off, maybe not one that all ubuntu users are making consciously.
This particular release is not an LTS release, and ubuntu/canonical's
teams have said not to use it in critical environments, but instead to
stay with the LTS release. The LTS will be coming in october IIRC, so
if you want to see real stability, wait for that one.
As for me, I'll stay on the bleeding edge and live with the consequences :)
