    I've heard good things about Sony's products...I'd love to get a
PS3, for what I think are the exact same reasons you got the MBP.

    A guy in Chicago brought me in on a start up...he had a Vaio; it
seemed pretty nice. We were building supercomputers meant to make it so
that an assembly line need never stop for a crash that had happened
before; kinda like an optimizer. I really miss little opportunities like
that...here, in the town where I grew up, they still think Windows is
the only option, that computers can only complicate what ya do, and they
all sit on desks.

    I'm here because Mom got frail...had a stroke and a fall...but a
part of me wants to be back out there, earning "real" money and the
other part thinks it's best just to lay low.  :)  It's been a long, long
career for me.  But maybe one of these days I'll get the chance to try
either of these cool pieces of hardware.
