Toshiba Portege S100 S1133

Has anyone been able to get Feisty Fawn to successfully install on a Toshiba Portege S100 S1133. I'm still unable to partition the drive with both the Desktop and alternate install. I submitted bug report 86635 which was suppose to be fixed with 2.6.20-12 and is listed as fix released but still no joy all the way up to the final release.

Just so you know I've also tried to install via the online upgrade with install fine but unable to boot because it can't find root /.

Does anyone have any suggestion on how I can get this upgraded or a fresh install.
