Ubuntu corrupts real time clock on some dell laptops, Bug #43745

Hi to everybody,

I have monitored the Bug #43745 in linux-source-2.6.17 (Ubuntu), Ubuntu  
corrupts real time clock on some dell laptops
for some time now. He has also now the entry linux-source-2.6.20 (Ubuntu)  
- Fix Released. But is seems to me, that this bug
is still open and there´s not really a solution for this problem.

My Hardware is a Dell Inspirion 6000 Laptop with the Bios Version A09 from  
October 2005. (Latest version)

My question: Has anybody experiences with the newest relaese, Ubuntu 7.04  
Feisty Fawn on this hardware? Or are any workarounds known for this problem
on this hardware?
