I used debian for more than a year and after that dapper for more than
three years on my work place. It's mainly win environment with AD on three
DCs and three debian servers. None of my coworkers are having problem
cooperating with me and I haven't had any problems yet. On permanent
Internet connections I had no viruses, trojans or rootkits or need to
reinstall my workstation. During almost five years many of my collegues
had to reinstall windows at least once, many of them three or even more
times. Also, debian on servers is rock solid and had no trouble with it
for more than seven years. Debian servers are runing lot of services while
windows servers are running some databases and licencing servers.
