   Go to edit mode of the panel item.
   There you click at the current symbol and you'll see a dialog for
   selecting an icon.

I'm not sure.  What does `go to the edit mode' mean?  I think maybe that
I was already where you are writing about when I started with `Add to
panel...'.

`Handle' was probably not a good term for me to use.  Say you start
Firefox, in the panel at the bottom of your display a button (?) appears
and, for instance, if you click on it, it minimizes Firefox.  It's the
icon of that `button' that I would like to change.
