cannot get wifi working on sony vaio

Hi all,
while I used kubuntu 6.06 my wi-fi card (Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 
3945ABG) worked. Now with kubuntu 6.1 it does not, and in fact I cannot get 
any program that manages the wifi card to work. I've installed the restricted 
kernel modules for my current kernel (2.6.11) but it is not working yet. Any 
idea? The following is the lspci output. Please someone can provide me 
information on how to get the card working?
