Almost

Now runs the same as Ogle (plays but un-viewable blast of pixtels or
what ever you call them )
but with error messages that Ogle did not provide:

Results  This message is repeated while the blast of pixtels plays on
the screen

Too many video packets in the buffer: (4096 in 8270666 bytes).
Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed?
For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option.
a52: CRC check failed!
