It's not hard. I know what's happened. But you've just told him to go away
and stop bugging us because he couldn't figure it out himself. If you'd
explained to him what had happened and where the data was, I'd have no
problem, but you essentially said it couldn't be found - and any software
that did that would be misbehaving.
