Ogg-checker?

I reported a bug, nearly a year and a half ago in Rhythmbox. I was
getting duplicates of songs played back to back. It really irritated me
because no one took any action, even to say they couldn't duplicate it.

So a couple of days ago I noticed something peculiar: RB wasn't
playing dupes...in fact it was reporting a different song playing, as
the LAST song was playing. And certain songs, prone to duplication,
play all the way through, then silence, then 1/2 second of their
beginning again.

The songs in question are all oggs, all ripped with SoundJuicer or
GRIP before that; nothing experimental, nothing 'tarball' about it. So
it occurred to me: is there something improperly ripped about these
files, that would cause this strange behaviour?

[Under Dapper] how would I know? Anyone know of a program to check
validity of such files?
