Hi,
I am new to Ubuntu (coming over from Fedora) and so far I am very
impressed.. Just about everything "just works".. I am using Feisty and
its been perfect for the last week I have used it..
Something I haven't worked out is how to attach network files to emails
in Thunberbird..
I have setup a couple of network "places" and these show as icons under
the places menu and on the desktop.. In OpenOffice when I go to open a
file these same icon appear in the browser window on the left so I can
navigate to network files and work on them.. When I try and attach a
file to an email in Thunderbird the same browser window appears but the
network places are not shown so I can't access the network files.. Is
there some way to make these show up or am I going to have to go back to
the old way of doing things and mount the network shares into the
filesystem rather than using the "places" menu?
Thanks in advance..
