Edgy update problem(s)

The answer is where it has always been; it's in the message you quoted
above.  Did you do as it said and move the files from /etc/X11R6/bin?
that looks like all it requires of you.

I'd try moving those files, myself.  The update manager seems to know
what it is doing.
