SSH Server Problems

First thing to do is to type 'netstat -l -t' in a terminal and see if
anything is listening on port 22.

Second thing to do is have a look in the /var/log/syslog after
attempting to connect and see if that reports any problems.

Third thing to do is to connect with about three -v options on the ssh
command. You will get lots of information, some of which may give you a
clue as to what is happening.

Post output to this list if the answer is not obvious.
