Hi,
I was taking a look at my /var/log/installer/syslog to see when I
installed Dapper [using ubiquity] and I saw recurring entries that read:

Error reading inode 5070.
Error reading inode 10797.
Error reading inode 12540.
Error reading inode 19683.
Error reading inode 20534.
Error reading inode 20803.
Error reading inode 21342.
Error reading inode 22100.
Error reading inode 25159.
dumpe2fs 1.38 (30-Jun-2005)
dumpe2fs 1.38 (30-Jun-2005)
dumpe2fs 1.38 (30-Jun-2005)

It seems I went back and forth on partman stage, and every time partman
read my hard disk (?) it gave these errors [with same inode numbers].
Does this mean my hard disk is physically damaged? I repartitioned and
formatted the drive during that install. Do I need to "diagnose" this?
Also, should I be panicking?
Thanks. :)

Or (though you might like Rodin) you might as well avoid "The Gates of
Hell" and use Linux.
