Original question is the exact question I'm having today after
installing freenx server. I don't want to create a new user for remote
work because then I wouldn't easily have access to all my files and
especially my firefox settings.
Any new solutions for this?
I'm guessing even a new Firefox profile wouldn't work because one user
can only have one profile open at a time. What I think I may try if I
get ambitious is to see if Firefox or any process can be launched under
a different user, then just rysnc the two profile directories nightly?
For now I'm going to just kill firefox when I'm logged in as the remote
user, maybe killall firefox-bin
