HowTo use Evolution mail with GMAIL

I was having trouble too at the onset but went back to the gmail help
center and followed the directions for configuring with other email
clients. Make sure for incoming you use *SSL* and outgoing *TLS*. That
got me working and I hope it works for you!:D 



AS for the issue with the download of old mail, that has to do with the
settings in your gmail account relative to POP forwarding/downloading.
Check your configuration setting at the Gmail account and you should be
working again.



I am new to Ubuntu and the linux packages, but so far very impressed!
