I didn't change fstab, but I lost the name of windows partition. How?

Hi,
Yesterday, strange thing happened: I lost the name of my win-partition,
under the icon on my Desktop. How is that possible?
The only thing I have done is defragmentation of win-partition (from
windows, of course), but nothing within Linux.
Can I have it back?
In addition, can I move that icon from the Desktop, and leave it only in
Places menu?
