Amarok not building collection on network drives

This was a whole new machine with a fresh install, and when it didn't
work I did try that.

I've been wondering if that would make a difference, I'm going to have to try switching over to NFS I guess. Never dealt with it before, but there's a first for everything, hehe

I'm gonna try what's already been mentioned here, but if it doesn't
work, I'll go ahead and post it on that list, thanks for the tip. And
I'll definitely post a solution, if I can get it working.
