Hi all,

I've had Ubuntu (Dapper) on my Dell Inspiron 2650 laptop for about a
month now (I love it!!! and no more windows) and a couple of days ago
the right side of my screen (about 2 inches wide) turned all white. When
I move the mouse over there, it disappears. Move it back, it reappears.
A few hours later it was back to normal. I just noticed it happening
again a few minutes ago. This time it only lasted a couple of minutes.

Does anyone have any idea if this could be related to Ubuntu, or is it
my screen going bad (the laptop's only a few years old)? Any ideas how
to figure out what could be wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Warm regards, Kevin.
