Has Ubuntu Replaced Windows on Your Box?

@parent: absolutely YES. i have a computer in my room, that runs windows
XP only because of games and hardware like joysticks etc. but 95% of the
time i'm using this computer to vnc+XDMCP into my linux server.

i got a macbook lately, and because i was practically only using it as
a remote console for my session in the linux box, and also because i
feared that as soon as i left my house i would be left without my
beloved gnome environment, i decided to install ubuntu.

i had a pretty complete installation on saturday, it took a week to
configure and polish etc. until yesterday when i accidentally wiped it
out doing some aerobatics with my osx installation.

right now i'm about 2/3 through the same installation i had before i
wiped it out. if this isn't love, i don' know what is. <3 free
software.
